Isabelle Nilsson (b. 1999, Malmö) works with fragmentation and romantic visual language through oil painting, drawing, and printmaking. In layered compositions, different motifs encounter one another and act as witnesses to each other. Her working method involves combining images through physical collage, which are then translated into paintings. Through recurring symbols and shapes, a narrative emerges beyond the original source material. In 2026, Isabelle received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Umeå Academy of Fine Arts. Her work has been exhibited in various galleries and museums, including Galleri Verkligheten, Skissernas Museum, Molekyl Gallery and Havremagasinet.isabellealices@gmail.com
